Will Discuss The Issue Of Rajya Sabha MPs Who Have Left The AAP

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will meet President Droupadi Murmu on May 5. Mann will speak with the President regarding the seven Rajya Sabha MPs who have left the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to join the BJP.

Speaking to journalists in Chandigarh, the Chief Minister stated that 15 individuals are being deported from Australia, 11 of whom are Punjabis. This group includes one woman. Of the remaining individuals, two belong to Telangana, one to Uttarakhand, and one to Haryana. These individuals are accused of violating laws in Australia, which is why the Australian government is sending them back.

The Chief Minister also announced that 21,000 cusecs of water would be released from the Bhakra Dam this evening. This water is expected to reach the canals of various districts for irrigation purposes between May 1 and May 3. Regarding the AAP meeting in Jalandhar, Mann clarified that it is strictly a meeting of the party’s observers. Addressing the matter of the blast on the railway track, CM Mann stated that the Punjab team is in contact with central agencies and that an investigation is currently underway.
