The good news is that, for certain routes, the fares this time around have been set lower compared to last year.
Fare List: How Much Will It Cost From Each Location?
UCADA has finalized the fares (Kedarnath Helicopter Booking) from three major base camps located in the Rudraprayag district. Please note that these fares are for a one-way journey, and GST will be added separately: Sersi to Kedarnath: ₹3,043 (Last September, this fare was ₹4,250; meaning the financial burden on your pocket will be lighter this time), Phata to Kedarnath: ₹4,840, Guptkashi to Kedarnath: ₹6,077
Bookings To Commence On April 10
The portals (Kapat) of Kedarnath Dham are set to open on April 22. Anticipating a massive influx of devotees, online booking for helicopter tickets will begin on April 10.
8 Companies To Operate Flights
To ensure a smooth pilgrimage experience this time, eight helicopter operators have been selected through a tender process. These companies will provide their services from two helipads in Guptkashi, four in Phata, and two in Sersi. The administration has implemented stricter and more organized arrangements this year to ensure that passengers do not face issues related to black marketing or fraudulent tickets.
