Firing At Former Jathedar’s House: Bullet Hits Giani Raghbir Singh’s Car
He Had Previously Pronounced A Religious Punishment For Sukhbir Badal.
A day after the attack on former Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal, an incident of firing has been reported outside the residence of Giani Raghbir Singh, the former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, in Amritsar. A bullet mark was found on a car parked outside the house, and a spent shell was recovered from the scene. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the location and initiated an investigation.
The sound of the gunshot was recorded on CCTV footage; however, the perpetrators have not yet been clearly identified. The police are scrutinizing footage from nearby CCTV cameras, and every aspect of the incident is being investigated.
The police have seized the recovered shell and commenced an inquiry. Efforts are underway to identify the shooters based on footage from surrounding cameras. Police officials state that the matter is being treated with seriousness, and the investigation to track down the accused is ongoing.
