AAP’s Second List For Punjab Assembly Elections To Be Released Soon

Following the release of its first list of 40 candidates for the Punjab Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is preparing to issue a second list soon. In light of this, several MLAs and leaders from Punjab have begun making frequent visits to Delhi.
Aspirants for party tickets including incumbent MLAs who have not yet been renominated are holding continuous meetings with the party’s Punjab in-charge, Manish Sisodia, and party supremo, Arvind Kejriwal.
Within the Aam Aadmi Party, there is talk that the party might deny tickets to 40 percent of its sitting MLAs, citing poor performance. Consequently, while incumbent MLAs fear being denied a party ticket, new aspirants remain hopeful of securing one.
Every MLA or leader returning from a meeting in Delhi makes it a point to share photographs on social media a move intended to send a clear message to other contenders for the party ticket.
