A decline in gold and silver prices has been recorded. According to the ‘India Bullion and Jewellers Association’ the price of 24-carat gold 10 grams has fallen by 4,065 to 1.48 lakh. Similarly, the price of one kilogram of silver has dropped by 9,158 to 2.23 lakh. So far this month over the past 28 days gold has become cheaper by 8,000 and silver by 14,000. Notably, on August 31, the price of gold was 1.56 lakh per 10 grams, which has now decreased to 1.48 lakh. Likewise, the price of one kilogram of silver has fallen from 2.37 lakh to 2.23 lakh.
