Darshan To Continue Until August 28

The Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026 will commence on July 3, and this sacred pilgrimage will span 57 days, concluding on August 28. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced the details of the pilgrimage following a meeting of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board.
He stated that registration for the Yatra will begin on April 15 and will be mandatory. Advance registration can be completed through 556 authorized bank branches across the country, while an online registration facility will also be available.
The prescribed age limit for the pilgrimage has been set between 13 and 70 years. Devotees will be able to undertake the journey to seek the Darshan (holy sight) of Baba Barfani via the traditional 48 kilometer long Pahalgam route or the shorter yet more arduous 14-kilometer Baltal route.
This year’s Pratham Puja (First Prayer) will be held on Jyeshtha Purnima, June 19. The administration has intensified preparations to ensure the safe and smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.
