Trump Supporter Apologises For Anti-India Post

Pakistan Accused Of Terrorism

An American right-wing activist and staunch supporter of Donald Trump, Laura Loomer, has sharply criticised Pakistan and apologised for her past anti-India social media posts. At an event in New Delhi, she said the United States should refrain from strengthening its ties with Pakistan and alleged that Pakistan’s biggest export is “Islamic terrorism”.

During the event, Loomer said that Pakistan is a country that openly promotes jihadi and pro-Sharia networks. She claimed that many terrorist incidents around the world are linked to Pakistan in some way or the other. She also mentioned Asif Merchant, a Pakistani national who was recently arrested in the United States and accused of plotting to assassinate President Trump.

Loomer also clarified her past social media posts and admitted that she had written some inappropriate things about Indians. She said, “I regret the things I said in my past tweets.” However, she also clarified that she still opposes the H-1B visa program and believes that the current immigration laws are being abused.

In fact, as soon as she shared information about her visit to India on social media, her past controversial posts resurfaced and quickly went viral on the internet. Many users shared her past posts, which contained derogatory and stereotypical comments about Indians.

However, amidst the criticism, Loomer clarified that she has no hatred towards India or the Hindu community. She said that her comments were not out of hatred towards anyone, but because of her commitment to the interests of her country and its people.
