Film ‘Thappi’ To Be Withdrawn From Cinemas Starting Tomorrow: Neeru Bajwa

Actress Neeru Bajwa has made a significant announcement regarding her film ‘Thappi’. The film, which has already been released, will no longer be screened in cinemas for the time being. Neeru Bajwa stated, “Whatever we are today, it is because of Punjab and ‘Punjabiyat’ (the essence of being Punjabi).”

“The very purpose behind making the film ‘Thappi’ is to see the grounds of Punjab vibrant and lively once again. Cinema is meant for the people, and it can never be greater than the people themselves. Given the current situation in Punjab, my team and I have decided since nothing is more important to us than Punjab to put our film ‘Thappi’ on hold. Starting tomorrow, the film will no longer be screened in any cinema. Until the situation in Punjab improves, we stand with Punjab in every respect; we have always stood with Punjab, and we will continue to stand with Punjab.”
