On Wednesday, February 25th, the wedding ceremony began with the application of turmeric to Rashmika and Vijay’s cheeks. Now, the only delay is the seven vows, which will take place in just a few hours.
Vijay and Rashmika will honor their respective cultural backgrounds by performing wedding rituals from two different cultures. The ceremonies will reflect Telugu and Kodava traditions. The first ceremony will be held according to traditional Telugu Hindu customs, which Vijay Deverakonda’s family follows. Following this, wedding rituals will be performed on Thursday evening as per Kodava culture. Rashmika comes from the Kodava culture.

Pandit Ji has also arrived in Udaipur for this grand wedding. A video of Pandit Ji’s arrival in Udaipur surfaced yesterday. Telugu and Kodava customs will be followed at the wedding.
Vijay and Rashmika’s Haldi ceremony took place on Wednesday, February 25th, during the day. Pictures of the decorations went viral. Later in the evening, the couple themselves gave fans a glimpse of their Haldi ceremony. One flower-shaped card had ‘Rushie’, Rashmika’s nickname, written on it, while the other had ‘Vijay’ written on it. These nameplates, adorned with fresh lilies, roses, and marigolds, added a romantic touch to the decor.
Entered The Sangeet Ceremony Holding Each Other’s Hands
Following the Haldi ceremony during the day, Virosh’s Sangeet ceremony took place in the evening, where the bride and groom entered holding each other’s hands. In the viral photo, Vijay and Rashmika were seen holding hands. The actress wore a silver lehenga, while the groom, Vijay Deverakonda, donned a black sherwani.
Vijay’s Mother Gave A Surprise Performance
During the sangeet, Vijay’s mother, Madhavi Deverakonda, surprised her son and daughter-in-law with a performance. The video also went viral on social media.

The Virosh pre-wedding celebrations, or rather, the pre-wedding festivities, began three days before the wedding. On February 23rd, the couple celebrated with a pool party, a grand candlelight dinner, and a volleyball match. This was followed by the Virosh Premier League on February 24th, where the bride and groom’s teams took turns holding bats and balls. The couple also gave handwritten notes to their wedding guests, demonstrating their hospitality.
Announcement Four Days Before The Wedding
Vijay and Rashmika made their relationship official on February 22nd, just four days before the wedding. The couple shared the good news with fans through a statement on their Instagram story, naming their wedding Virosh. After this, the next day i.e. on 23rd February, the couple left for Udaipur for the wedding.
