Renowned Bengali actor Subhashree Ganguly and her son, Yuvan, are also stranded in Dubai during this difficult time. Tensions have also risen in Dubai due to the US, Israel, and Iran conflict. Subhashree’s family shared the news of her being stranded in Dubai on Sunday.
Blast Near Subhashree’s Hotel
Subhashree Ganguly’s husband, film director-producer and Trinamool Congress MLA Raj Chakraborty, is worried about his wife and son. He said, “They arrived in Dubai on Saturday for a vacation. The situation has become even more difficult since then.” Yuvan is with Subhashree, which has increased the concern. They are staying at Palm Jumeirah, where an explosion occurred near their hotel. Authorities there have issued instructions to people not to leave their homes. However, friends and relatives in Dubai are helping Subhashree.
Hope For Subhashree’s Safe Return Home
Filmmaker Raj Chakraborty is currently in Kolkata with his daughter Yalini. When asked if he has sought any help from the government for the safe return of Subhashree and his son, he said, “We have not yet asked for any help from the government. We hope they will return home safely.”
On Saturday, Iran allegedly carried out attacks in the United Arab Emirates, including Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as well as Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and Doha in Qatar. This has increased tensions throughout the region. In addition to the Bengali actress, several Bollywood stars are also stranded in Dubai.
