Positive Changes Emerging In Schools
The Chief Minister remarked that the positive impact of ‘Smart Schools’ is becoming evident across the state. He asserted that electricity, computers, and other basic amenities have now been provided in 99 percent of Punjab’s government schools. Commending the stellar performance of students particularly girls in the recently declared results of the Punjab School Education Board, he stated that this serves as proof of the improvements within the education system.
Bhagwant Mann highlighted that the Punjab government, for the first time, introduced Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) in government schools an initiative that has yielded positive outcomes. He added that children are now excelling not only in academics but also in sports, thereby fostering their holistic development.
