Major administrative changes have been made in the Raj Bhavans of several states and union territories across the country. The President has accepted the resignation of West Bengal Governor Dr. C.V. Anand Bose. Nine governors and lieutenant governors have also been appointed in several states. This decision has resulted in changes in responsibilities in various states. Following the new order, several senior leaders and former officials have been given important constitutional positions.
According to the President’s order, Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla has been appointed Governor of Telangana. Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Verma has been appointed Governor of Maharashtra. Further more, former military officer General (Retd.) Syed Ata Hasnain has been appointed Governor of Bihar. Nand Kishore Yadav has been appointed the new Governor of Nagaland.

According to the order, Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi has been appointed as the new Governor of West Bengal. Previously, Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose was the Governor of West Bengal, whose resignation has been accepted by the President. Following this change, R.N. Ravi has been given the responsibility of the Raj Bhavan of West Bengal.
Who Will Take Charge Of Tamil Nadu?
The responsibility of the Governorship of Tamil Nadu has been temporarily given to Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. He has been given the additional charge of the duties of the Governor of Tamil Nadu. This means that he will currently hold the responsibility of the Raj Bhavan of Tamil Nadu, along with Kerala.
