Direct Flights From Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport To Pune And Bengaluru
Service To Begin On June 1st; Check The Schedule

Air connectivity from Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport to major cities across the country is being further strengthened. Starting June 1st, Air India Express is set to launch new direct flights to Pune and Bengaluru, offering significant convenience to passengers. The airline has already commenced bookings for these new flights.
Under the new arrangement, a daily Air India Express flight will operate between Chandigarh and Pune. This flight will depart from Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport at 12:45 AM (midnight) and arrive in Pune at approximately 3:10 AM. On the return leg, the flight will take off from Pune at 3:45 AM and reach Chandigarh at 6:05 AM.
Flights To Operate Post-Midnight
Notably, under the summer schedule, this will be the first scheduled flight to operate from the airport after midnight. Air connectivity between Chandigarh and Bengaluru has also been further enhanced. The new flight will depart from Chandigarh at 6:40 AM and arrive at Kempegowda International Airport (Terminal 2) in Bengaluru at 9:55 AM.
Conversely, on the return journey, this flight will depart from Bengaluru at 9:15 PM and arrive in Chandigarh at 12:15 AM. According to officials, following the launch of these new flights, a total of five non-stop flights will operate daily between Chandigarh and Bengaluru, helping to accommodate the growing volume of passengers.
Beneficiaries Of The New Service
Passengers associated with the IT sector, education, business, and tourism will directly benefit from this initiative. Passengers will now have additional travel options at their disposal. Currently, only one direct flight operated by IndiGo Airlines runs between Chandigarh and Pune. With the launch of Air India Express’s new service, passengers will now have access to additional choices.
