Renowned singer Asha Bhosle is no more. The 92-year-old vocalist was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on April 11, following a sudden deterioration in her health.
Initial reports suggested that Asha Bhosle had been hospitalized due to a cardiac arrest; however, her granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, later clarified that her grandmother was suffering from a chest infection. Asha Bhosle passed away on April 12. According to the doctors at Breach Candy Hospital have stated that Asha Tai’s demise was caused by multiple organ failure.
Funeral To Be Held Tomorrow
Confirming Asha Bhosle’s passing, her son, Anand Bhosle, announced that members of the public may visit Casa Grande in Lower Parel tomorrow at 11:00 AM to pay their final respects. Subsequently, her funeral rites will be performed at Shivaji Park at 4:00 PM.
