I Want Impactful Characters In Films, Not Just Screen Time – Chetna Pande
Actress Chetna Pande is receiving a positive response from audiences for her recently released film, Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past. Amidst this success, Chetna discussed her career, her choice of films, and her future plans.
She stated that she now wishes to be part of projects that help her grow as an artist and leave a lasting impression on the audience’s hearts. Chetna Pande said, “At this stage of my career, I do not want to limit myself to any specific type of character or film genre. After working in a horror film, I realized the power of this genre, so I would certainly like to work in horror films in the future.
However, I do not want to be confined to just this genre. As an artist, my biggest dream is to constantly surprise both myself and my audience with new avatars.” The actress added, “I want to play characters that challenge me emotionally, mentally, and physically, and help me evolve. Whether it is a big commercial film, a thriller, or a biopic, what matters most to me is that my character stays with the audience long after the film ends.” Chetna remarked, “I don’t necessarily need a lot of screen time in a film.
I prioritize roles that have a strong narrative and the power to convey a meaningful message. Instead of roles that merely showcase glamour, I want to be part of stories that compel people to think. I want every new project to take me a step further than my previous work and teach me something new.” Chetna concluded, “I am still trying to process and fully absorb this entire experience.”
“When an artist works hard on a film for a long time, facing various challenges while hoping the audience will appreciate the work, it isn’t easy to immediately process the moment success finally arrives.” Expressing her happiness over the success of the film Haunted 3D, Chetna said, “The past few days have been less about celebration and more about gratitude. The first people I spoke to were my family, friends, and those who supported me at every step of this journey. For me, the greatest joy is seeing my loved ones happy about my success.”
