Ali Abbas Zafar’s Upcoming Film To Release In March Next Year
The Film Will Feature Stars Like Ahan Pandey, Sharvari And Bobby Deol
Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming film starring Ahan Pandey, Sharvari, Aishwarya Thackeray and Bobby Deol has been confirmed for release on March 26, 2027. Yash Raj Films chief Aditya Chopra has locked in the theatrical release date of director Ali Abbas Zafar’s yet-to-be-titled romantic action drama film on Good Friday next year.
The film has been shot extensively in the UK.
Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film marks the fifth producer-directorial collaboration between them after Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.
Aishwarya Thackeray has been roped in to play an antagonist in Zafar’s film. Ali Abbas Zafar made his directorial and screenwriting debut in 2011 with the romantic comedy “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan”. The film revolved around a young man who finds a bride for his elder brother, but then discovers that he himself has fallen in love with her.
His next film was the action drama “Gunday”, set in Calcutta in the 1970s and 1980s. The film also featured Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, along with Priyanka Chopra.
Zafar’s next film was the sports drama Sultan, starring Salman Khan as a wrestling champion from Haryana. He then made Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel to YRF’s Ek Tha Tiger. His most recent work includes Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
