The makers of director Karthik Dandu’s highly anticipated mythological thriller ‘VrushaKarma’ starring Naga Chaitanya in the lead role have announced that the film will be released in theaters on December 4 of this year. This news has sparked great excitement among fans and movie lovers.
Naga Chaitanya made the announcement on his ‘X’ (Twitter) account. He wrote, “A mythological marvel unfolds #VrushaKarma on 04.12.26.”
It is worth noting that the film’s makers had previously revealed that actor Jayaram is playing the character of ‘Professor Ranganath’ in the movie and had also released the look for this character.
Earlier this year, the makers released the first poster of Jayaram as ‘Professor Ranganath’ via the film’s official social media handle. They had said, “His passion was not a weakness; it was a compass. Presenting one of India’s finest artists, @actorjayaram_official Garu, as ‘Professor Ranganath’ from #Vrushakarma. #VrushakarmaGlimpse on March 5, 2026, at 12:12 PM.”
The film’s producers announced the title on Naga Chaitanya’s birthday last year. On that occasion, they also released the first poster of Naga Chaitanya from “Vrushakarma.”
In the poster, he appeared in a powerful and fierce avatar. Naga Chaitanya was seen displaying a muscular physique with a serious expression.
Sharing the film’s first poster on Instagram, Naga Chaitanya wrote, “#vrushakarma This is for #nc24.”
Directed by Karthik Dandu, the film is produced by B.V.S.N. It is being produced on a grand scale by Prasad and Sukumar under the banners of ‘Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP (SVCC)’ and ‘Sukumar Writings’, respectively. Meenakshi Chaudhary will be seen romancing Naga Chaitanya in the film; Sparsh Shrivastava, who gained recognition with ‘Laapataa Ladies’, will also play a pivotal role.
