Director Praveen S. Vijay’s courtroom drama ‘Sathyavan Savithiri’, starring actress Keerthy Suresh and director Mysskin in lead roles, is now set for a worldwide release on November 20. The filmmakers announced this on Friday.
The production company, ‘Drumsticks Productions’, wrote on its social media pages: “No more silence. Savithiri’s battle begins! #SathyavanSavithiri in cinemas worldwide on November 20.”
It is worth noting that the film was originally scheduled for release on July 24; however, the makers had decided to postpone it. They have now announced that it will hit theaters on November 20.
The production house had released the first and second looks of the film in May of this year. In the first poster, Keerthy Suresh was seen looking back, while the lawyers around her were looking straight ahead. At the time, the production house stated, “A calm face. An unstoppable force. Now, it’s her game… Presenting the first look of #SathyavanSavithiri.”
Sources close to the film’s team have revealed that the story revolves around two lawyers Keerthy Suresh and director Mysskin. According to the sources, Mysskin plays the role of Keerthy’s senior lawyer in the film. An insider shared, “When her boss decides to side with the wrongdoers in a particular case, Keerthy tries to make him see reason. However, it is at this juncture that she sees his true colors. This case alters the course of Keerthy’s life. How she handles the situation forms the core theme of the film.” Apart from Keerthy Suresh, actors such as Charukesh, Balasaravanan, Madhusudhanan, Shilpa Manjunath, R. Sundarrajan, Brigida, Mala Parvathi, and A. Venkatesh will play key roles in this film.
Jointly produced by Zee Studios and Drumsticks Productions, the film features cinematography by Arul Vincent and music by Sam C.S. The editing has been done by Prasanna G.K.
