Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Aura India Tour’ Delhi Concert Cancelled

The concert by Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh, scheduled to take place in Delhi on October 30, has been cancelled. The Delhi Police have denied permission for the show, citing security concerns and challenges related to maintaining law and order during the festive season. It is currently unclear whether the organizers will set a new date for the event or consider holding it at a different venue. Diljit Dosanjh’s fans are now awaiting an official announcement from the organizers.
The show, which was part of Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Aura India Tour’, failed to receive security clearance following a police review of the application to host the event. According to the police, it is necessary to deploy additional forces at sensitive locations and key establishments across the capital during the festive season. In such a situation, arranging the necessary police personnel for a large-scale music concert can be challenging. Since a large number of fans were expected to attend the event, extensive arrangements would have been required for crowd control, traffic management, and overall security. Taking these circumstances into account, the police have refused to grant permission.
