Amidst the BJP’s ongoing rallies and programs against drug abuse in Punjab, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha visited Amritsar’s famous ‘Gyani Tea Stall’. After wrapping up his day’s engagements, Chadha spent some leisure time sipping tea and discussing Punjab’s politics with the public late into the night.

He engaged in late-night discussions about Punjab’s politics while sipping tea. He added, “One thing is clear: drugs lead to ruin, while there is faith in tea. Some may have misconceptions, but tea has substance!”

Drug abuse is currently a central political issue in Punjab. The BJP is conducting rallies and programs across the state as part of its anti-drug campaign. Gyani Tea Stall is renowned for its tea in Amritsar, drawing crowds from 4 AM until late at night. Sitting and chatting over tea here has long been a part of the city’s political and social discourse. Amidst the BJP’s anti-drug campaign, Chadha’s message also emphasized the need to shun drugs. In his message, linking the harmful effects of substance abuse with the public’s trust in tea, he stated, “Addiction leads to ruin; there is faith in tea.” This message is being viewed against the backdrop of the ongoing political debate regarding substance abuse.
