Hollywood Actor Liam Neeson’s Film ‘THE FIX’ To Release In India On October 23
Hollywood actor Liam Neeson’s new film, ‘THE FIX’, is set to release in Indian cinemas on October 23 this year. Directed by Guy Moshe, the film revolves around a team of former CIA agents who come together to accomplish an impossible task: rescuing a hostage trapped deep within Tehran, from where there is no way out.
Neeson leads the mission (playing the role of Larry) alongside Zachary Levi (playing Tucker). Tucker is the man who takes the team to Tehran; he is young and sharp, and harbors regrets about the mission that caused the team to disband previously. Titus Welliver, known for ‘Bosch’, is an interesting addition to the cast, while Elnaaz Norouzi brings a sense of familiarity for Indian audiences.
‘The Fix’ marks Elnaaz’s second Hollywood project alongside Neeson. Sharing her experience, Elnaaz recounted how she learned to play poker with the rest of the cast during filming breaks. She added that one of her biggest challenges was portraying ‘Zara’ a multi-layered and emotionally complex character.
As part of her preparation, Elnaaz also gathered information about individuals whose experiences and perspectives mirrored those of her character, in order to better understand her mindset.
Wes Chatham, Navid Negahban, Annet Mahendru, Augusto Aguilera, and Quincy Isaiah are also part of the cast of ‘The Fix’. A gripping tale of loyalty, sacrifice, and a final mission with incredibly high stakes this drama is inspired by the life of Bazzel Baz, a former officer of the CIA’s Special Operations Group. Brought to India by PVRINOX Pictures, the film ‘THE FIX’ is set to release in cinemas across the country on October 23.
Backed by Guy Moshe, Marina Grasic, Matthew G. Zamias, Wendy Sweetmore, and Justin Oberman under the banners of Astral Future, Latigo Films, and Dreamtime Films, the film has already been released in the United States on September 11.
