Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt’s character ‘Munna Bhai’ remains immensely popular among audiences to this day. Recently, Sanjay Dutt appeared on Shekhar Suman’s show, where he spoke in the persona of Munna Bhai. When asked what decisions he would make in the interest of the country and the world if Munna Bhai were the Prime Minister of India, he also shared a special message for US President Donald Trump.
Speaking in the style of Munna Bhai, Sanjay Dutt remarked that Trump is busy escalating tensions across the globe. He stated that he would personally go to the US and explain to Trump with affection that attacking other nations cannot bring peace to the world. He said, “If you attack one country, another will see that and attack a third. Then, everyone will collectively talk about ‘world peace.’ But where will peace come from after creating such chaos? Peace comes through love, and love comes through ‘Gandhigiri’.”
Sanjay Dutt advised Trump that since the world already has plenty of missiles, it is time to spread love as well. He suggested that if one feels the urge to send a missile, one should send a large bouquet of flowers instead. Rather than issuing threats, one should invite the other person over for tea and listen to what they have to say. Taking a dig at the tariffs imposed by Trump, he remarked that instead of imposing tariffs, one should start appreciating people; doing so would bring peace to the heart. Finally, in the style of ‘Munna Bhai’, he said that he was coming to America to give Trump a ‘Jaadu Ki Jhappi’ (a magical hug).
