‘Battle Of Galwan’ Releases Series Featuring Real Soldiers

The makers of the film ‘Battle of Galwan’ have released a special video series featuring the stories of real army veterans and their families, recognizing the silent forces that stand behind every soldier. Sharing these videos, the makers wrote that ‘Battle of Galwan’ salutes the families who have lived every posting, every departure, and every return with all their heart. The first video features Mrs. Ganvi Chadha, daughter of Colonel Mahip Singh Chadha of the 3rd Gorkha Rifles. Colonel Chadha participated in the 1965 and 1971 wars. Mrs. Chadha recalls how her husband, while deployed in the field, had to book a call through the local exchange, following all the protocols.

She describes how much the family missed him, especially when cooking his favorite meals. When he returned home on leave, there was a special joy in eating the same meal together. In the second video, Mrs. Savinder Manchanda, wife of Lieutenant Colonel Jagdeep Manchanda (Retired) of the 16 Bihar Regiment, shares the stressful memories of when her husband’s unit was deployed to the Wangchuk tribal area of Arunachal Pradesh.

She explains that there was constant danger in that area. Telephone lines were very long and voices were not clear, but somehow hearing her husband’s voice was a great comfort. The third video features retired Lieutenant Colonel Jagdeep Manchanda himself, who served the country from 1972 to 2003. He describes his 32-year army career as the most precious part of his life. Recalling many difficult operations, including the Galwan Valley conflict, he expressed gratitude to the Indian Army and his comrades.

Through these emotional and inspiring stories, Salman Khan Films not only honors the bravery of the soldiers but also salutes the sacrifices of the families who are the true strength behind every uniform. Produced by Salman Khan and directed by Apoorva Lakhia, “Battle of Galwan” attempts to portray bravery, sacrifice, and the depth of human relationships. Chitrangada Singh also plays a pivotal role in the film, adding to the impact of the story. Following the overwhelming audience response to the “Battle of Galwan” teaser, Salman Khan Films continues to strengthen the spirit of patriotism.
