Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt tied the knot. The couple got married on July 5 at the actor’s Pali Hill residence. Aamir and Gauri got married at home under the Special Marriage Act.
The first picture of their wedding has also been out. Aamir’s wedding preparations had been going on for a long time. The 61-year-old actor had recently revealed that he and Gauri are getting married at home, in which only family members and close friends will be present.
Gauri is a salon entrepreneur and fashion professional from Bengaluru. Her father is of Tamil-British origin and her mother is of Punjabi-Irish origin. Gauri is the granddaughter of British communist Philip Spratt, who was associated with India’s independence movement in the 1920s.
This marriage has been registered as a court marriage under the Special Marriage Act. After this, lunch has been arranged for all the guests. Industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his family also reached Aamir Khan’s house to attend the wedding amidst heavy rain.
